Part of the Autumnal Evening Series - Clarity through Creativity
A witchy autumn gathering of marigold, candlelight, creativity, music and fizz.
As we move towards Samhain, All Hallows’ Eve and Día de Muertos, we’ll explore the symbolism of marigold, the women who came before us, the one we’re becoming and what we’re ready to release and call in.
Come adorned, settle into candlelight and guided visualisation, then stay for the music, making, fizz and a little autumnal magic.
The evening
Tis the season of the witch afterall!
The nights are drawing in and we’re moving towards the darker half of the year. It feels like a good time to gather together, light some candles and celebrate the season.
Marigold has a deep connection with Día de Muertos in Mexico, where the fragrant cempasúchil is traditionally used in ofrendas and pathways to honour and guide the souls of loved ones.
Taking inspiration from this symbolism, we’ll use marigold as our guide for an evening of creativity, ritual and celebration.
We’ll begin by slowing down, moving into a guided creative visualisation and making space to listen to what already knows its way forward.
Then the mood shifts….tunes on, fizz poured and candles glowing.
We’ll make, create and play with scent, flowers and flame, with marigold woven through the evening.
Candlelight has its own symbolism at this time of year: warmth in the darkness, a light to follow, a way of marking a threshold and a reminder that even as the days grow darker, we carry our own light with us.
Come dressed up, as witchy as you like, ready for a beautiful, relaxed evening with other women.
