Deepening the Weave: Further Techniques Circle

£125.00

Sunday 10th May 10-4pm

A soulful continuation for women ready to expand their weaving practice.

This full-day weaving circle is for women who already hold the foundations of weaving and feel ready to explore deeper techniques, richer textures and more expressive design.

Here, we continue your weaving journey by building confidence, opening creative pathways, and learning techniques that bring movement, depth and sophistication to your work.

We begin gently, revisiting foundational techniques so you feel grounded and supported, whether you’re continuing from the Foundational Circle or arriving with previous weaving experience.

You’ll work with a beautiful, expanded selection of natural fibres, wools, textures and specialty yarns, allowing you to create a wall hanging that reflects your evolving style as a weaver.

As always, the circle includes a nourishing homemade lunch, snacks, and plenty of tea and coffee, held in the warm, peaceful setting of my home in Thurlestone on the South Devon coast. The space is intentionally kept small, a maximum of 6 women, to honour depth, connection and spaciousness.

Prerequisite: completion of the Foundational Circle or previous weaving experience.

This Circle and the Foundational Circle are part of a wider weaving path, a slow, beautiful unfolding into becoming a weaver.
For those who choose to continue, this journey expands into deeper techniques, natural dyeing, spinning, heritage patterns, and eventually creating your own signature piece.
Each circle offers another layer, another skill, another opening (for more details email me at suzanne@nestandburrow.co.uk).
